AVANTYPE FONT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

By installing these font files, you (or you on behalf of your employer) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this License Agreement. You accept all social and legal norms regarding the intellectual and artistic property rights of the creator/designer under international treaties protecting copyrights, creative works, and patents. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use, download, or allow others to use these fonts.

1. Grant of License & Usage Limits

• This agreement grants you specific, non-exclusive rights to use the fonts in graphic design and desktop publishing software. It does not transfer any intellectual or artistic property ownership of the font designs, letterforms, programming, documentation, or related trademarks.

• This license allows you to install and use the fonts on 1 to 3 computers only, provided they are located within the same office, workshop, or workspace.

• Service Bureau / Printer Exception: You may provide a copy of the font to an external commercial printer or service bureau solely to output your document. This copy is for one-time use only, and the service provider must delete the font immediately upon completion of the job.

2. Restrictions

The digital font files, encoded letterform designs, software code, documentation, and all copies remain the absolute property of designer Habib Khoury / “Avantipe Foundry”.

Except as explicitly permitted herein, you strictly may not:

• Sell, rent, lease, sub-license, lend, gift, or redistribute the font software, in whole or in part.

• Modify, adapt, alter, decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or attempt to discover the source code of the font software.

3. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitations

• The font software and accompanying materials are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Avantipe Foundry specifically disclaims any warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, software compatibility, or support for languages not explicitly included in the font’s specifications.

• Avantipe Foundry provides no warranties or support beyond 14 days from the date of delivery, and does not guarantee that the software will be entirely free of errors or omissions. All risks regarding the accuracy, reliability, results, and currency of the font usage rest entirely on the user.

• If you require extended protection, multi-user deployment, or an exclusive custom license, you must contact Avantipe Foundry directly to coordinate your specific request.

4. Limitation of Liability

The legal liability for any loss or damage related to this agreement shall never exceed the actual purchase price paid for the license. Avantipe Foundry shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data loss, or any damages resulting from the misuse or misapplication of the font software.
