A Group Buy Deal is a limited-time, limited-participant campaign offering our typefaces at a substantial discount off the regular price. Early participants secure the deal. Once the campaign ends, the fonts return to their standard prices.

How it works: the sale is collective, not individual. The fonts are delivered at the end of the campaign, provided the announced minimum number of participants is reached.

Safety and trust: your payment is charged at checkout to secure your place in the campaign, and the full amount is refunded to the same payment method if the minimum number of participants is not reached by the end of the campaign.

Choose OTF for desktop work on macOS and Windows; it supports the full OpenType features in our fonts. TTF is the safer choice for older software and some Windows applications. For websites and apps you need the web formats, WOFF and WOFF2, which come with a Web & App licence. Our desktop packages include both OTF and TTF.

Unzip the folder you received. On macOS, double-click each font file and click “Install Font”, or drag the files into Font Book. On Windows, select the files, right-click and choose “Install for all users”. Close and reopen your design software afterwards, as most applications only scan fonts at startup.

One. The Web & App licence is issued per domain, or per app. A second website, a second app, or a subdomain used as a separate site each require an additional licence. Contact us for multi-domain pricing.

Yes. Payment is handled by Stripe, so you can pay directly with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover without any account. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link are also available at checkout. Your card details go straight to our payment provider and are never stored on our site.

Because fonts are digital goods delivered by download, the sale is final once the files have been delivered, so we cannot refund a change of mind. We will of course help if the files are faulty or the wrong package was delivered. The exception is a Group Sale campaign: if the minimum number of participants is not reached by the end date, every participant is refunded in full automatically.

Your download link is sent by email to the address used at checkout, normally within minutes and at most within 12 hours. If it has not arrived, check your spam or promotions folder and confirm the address you entered. You can also log in to My Account → Downloads to get the files directly. Still stuck? Email support@avantype.com with your order number and we will resend it.

Yes, individual weights and styles can be licensed separately. Note that the licence covers only the weights you purchased; the other styles in the family remain unlicensed even if they arrive in the same folder. Buying the full family is usually better value than four or more single weights.

No. Each licence covers one website or app, and it belongs to the party named in the licence. For a second client you need a new licence, normally purchased in that client’s name so they own the right to keep using the font after your work ends. We are happy to invoice the client directly.

Our Arabic typefaces support Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Urdu and Kurdish, including the additional letters those languages require. Latin coverage varies by family. Each font’s page lists its exact language support, and the character set is shown in the specimen.

Every font page includes a specimen and character map showing the complete glyph set, so you can check for a specific letterform, ligature, numeral style or diacritic before buying. If you cannot find what you need there, email support@avantype.com with the characters in question and we will confirm, or discuss adding them as a custom commission.
